What form of payment do you accept?
We accept the following forms of payment:
- Debit or credit card via Square
- Cash App
- Cash
Please note that all payments are due at the time of service, including travel fees should the notarization be cancelled at the table for any reason.
What types of IDs are acceptable?
Verification of ID may be satisfied via the following methods:
1) An unexpired, US government or state issued ID containing both a photograph and signature of the bearer. Common forms of ID include a drivers license, non-drivers ID card, license to carry, US Permanent Resident Card (Green Card), US passport (but not US passport cards), and some US military ID’s.
2) Foreign government ID’s (including Consular cards) are not acceptable, per the State of Texas. The only exception is a current passport issued by a foreign government, and only when related to residential real estate documents. Foreign passports may not be used with any other documents.
3) If a valid ID is not available, the signer may be identified by a credible identifying witness who knows the signer well enough to swear or affirm as to their identity. The credible witness must present their own valid ID.
If you have any questions or concerns about your ID, please let us know ahead of time. In the event we meet, but are unable to complete the notarization due to an expired ID or unsupported name variation, the travel fee will still be due.
Where do we meet?
As mobile notaries, we specialize in meeting you in the comfort of your own home, office or preferred location, at a time that is most convenience for you. You may also come to us, by appointment only.
Should I complete documents ahead of time?
With exception of pre-arranged real estate closings and other packages being facilitated by the notary, your documents should be completed in full (except signatures) prior to your appointment, with no blank spaces remaining. Incomplete documents may result in your appointment needing to be rescheduled to another time.
Can you offer legal advice, or advise on what my document needs?
No, this is out of our legal bounds as notaries public, and are considered unethical practices of law. If you are unsure how to complete a document, please contact the document issuer, or final receiver, for advice on what they require. If your document does not contain a preprinted notarial certificate, but you would like it notarized, we are happy to offer you a choice of certificates recognized by the State of Texas.
